Basement DIY Family Room house Paint Walls

Basement Renovation Drywall

So I definitely forgot to post Update 3 when I filmed it two months ago so I’ll just make this a double post. 2 for the price of 1. What a deal. We finally tackled the basement renovation drywall.

In February/March we finished the framing, electrical, insulating and even got all the drywall up. Around the second week of March my Grandfather and I began mudding the drywall.

As everyone knows things started getting really intense in regards to the pandemic and “Stay-At-Home” orders, so I basically stopped all progress because I didn’t want to compromise anyone who was nice … Read the rest...

Downstairs Family Room Demo

Hope everyone had a great holiday! We took the week off and decided to get cracking on our biggest project to date; the Downstairs Family Room Demo! It’s time to gut the downstairs!

Well I’m 35 weeks along today, and it’s ready for baby!

First and foremost I want to give a shoutout to Mike for building these beautiful shelves. I gave him a DIY video and list of materials and he did a fantastic … Read the rest...

Recessed LED lighting & 1 Full year!

Can you believe it? One full rotation around the sun here already. One year ago today we made settlement on this place. I know I have been fairly quiet this summer, it’s been a busy one. Now that it’s finally winding down I figured I would post about the project we have drug out the last few months; new ceiling tiles and Recessed LED lighting in our basement. Mainly because summer is for doing things outdoors, and trust me, our yard keeps us more than busy enough. Inside projects take the back-burner.

Before: tiles & Track lights
